Postage & Paper Ephemera

A stamp is a tiny picture of a place, a moment, or an idea. Beside an old envelope or a handwritten note, it becomes part of a much bigger story. Paper ephemera rewards the kind of looking that takes its time.

Start with whatever catches your eye: butterflies, mountain views, a particular color, or the postmarks of a place you love. A collection does not need to be complete to mean something.

Handle old paper with clean, dry hands and keep it out of strong sunlight. Use archival sleeves or photo corners for pieces you want to preserve, and choose reproductions when a collage calls for glue or scissors. Vintage stamps are collectibles; do not assume they are valid for current mailing.
